NeNe Leakes acts like a DIVA at Chicago's Top Chef event?

After NeNe Leakes dropped major hints that she would be in Chicago, I had to know why.

It was because Girl and the Goat (owned by Top Chef Season 4 winner Stephanie Izard) were hosting a Top Chef finale party which were happening in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York simultaneously.

The cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta were in attendance (except pregnant Kim Zolciak). I heard that with the exception of Sheree, they were not social or gracious to the party goers, especially Miss NeNe. While other celebrity guests went to Gilt Bar after the finale, NeNe and the Housewives went to the weekly Super Fun Party at JBar where they continued to be antisocial….. WOW!

Indeed I engaged in watching the Basketball wives season 2 reunion. I was appalled at the way Evelyn and Royce went back and forth over LABELS. Labels honey. Your labels shouldn’t wear you. I know Evelyn rocked a HERVE LEGER dress that two other celebs have been seen in recently, she combined her version with those ultra cool Christian Louboutins and overboard she went. Royce: well Royce tried. She looked ok and cute but I absolutely adored Gloria’s dress (minus those pearls). So for a little fun, I decided to whip up a reunion outfit that I would rock (if I was ever on a reality show).

I choose an Alexander Wang dress and the Dior Spring 2011 sandals, I have been drooling over. I think I would have given them a run for their Leger’s….

Greg Lauren to debut collection at Barneys (Chicago) this Saturday from 1pm -3pm

Mr. Lauren's one-of-a-kind deconstructed tuxedos and field jackets made from vintage military duffels, army tents and sailor uniforms were born from his work as an artist. Before he launched his eponymous clothing line, he first learned to sew cutting life-size tuxedos and three-piece suits out of paper for an exhibition he presented in New York and Los Angeles last year titled "Alteration," which explored heroic imagery the construction of iconic menswear garments.

"The clothes are about the individual, and the idea that clothing can embrace who we really are, rather than being an armor to project something artificial to the world," says Lauren. "They are made with the spontaneity and inspiration of creating a painting, embracing imperfection rather than perfection"

Greg Lauren is available in select Barneys New York stores and
