So what do you guys think? Is Blake too old to play a young 18 year old Carrie even though she plays Serena on Gossip Girl? Do you think she could effectively play Carrie?
I read Candace Bushnell's 'The Carrie Diaries' and thoroughly enjoyed the book even though it totally differed from the famous Sex and the City series. I was expecting the facts that we learned about Carrie through the tv series to be in the book. Carrie - fashion wise was no different in the book but her family dynamic and her life growing up was very different but it wasn’t geared for us women who already knew Carrie but rather for the teenagers to help them become familiar with Carrie.
Will older women want to see this movie with Carrie as an adolescent? I believe so, I think anything that is Sex and the City related will garner support in the masses. Still undecided about a possibility of Blake being casted.
